How soon before the flight does SIA release their greyed-out seats for paid/free selection?

No clear picture. Mainly Miles suggests it is 48hrs or 96 hrs https://mainlymiles.com/2019/08/29/...seats in Business,48 hours prior to departure.

You can select preferred seats as soon as you check-in 48hrs pre dep - there are clear mistakes in Mainly Miles post as you cannot select bassinet seats until they become free 48hrs pre dep - and be aware if you do select bassinet seat and it subsequently is reqd by pax with infant you will def have to move.
