Hi all
Am after some assistance in regards to
Singapore Airlines Redemption ticket Validity and Extension. I have points expirying end of
July, however am full up travel wise for all of next year so using them for a flight then is not
Possible. If I was to book a flight late July this year for travel next July, could I next July do a flight ticket change to some time before end of June next year and fly then? Is this within ticket
validity ?

Kris Flyer Award tickets are valid for 12 months from the date of ticket issuance. Changes to the itinerary, such as flight dates, must be made within this period.

Change would be made within the 12 months from issuance but am asking if the rebooked ticket can be booked for later date?

No. Your new flight date must still within 12 months from initial issurance.

Also if it is rerouting, they may force you to cancel the ticket and reissue a new ticket, meaning you lose your miles.

As per @kamchatsky - if you booked an award flight today (20th March), the only way to use the miles so employed beyond 20th March 2027 would be by cancelling and making a new booking with any refunded miles. Any miles that would have expired before 20th March 2027 will not be refunded.
