I was mucking around on the SQ website, daydreaming about my next flight, and noticed that they offer JetBlue flights via their website. I notice that the Krisflyer section doesn't mention them as a partner. I was wondering if anyone knows if that list on the website is out of date.
I guess the lack of information is due to the partnership still being up for approval? From the press release:
I have never flown with JetBlue but I have heard great things from my cousin in Austin. Judging by the Singapore Airlines website, to get to Austin, I could do:
MEL-SIN-ICN-SFO with SQ & SFO-AUS with VX
OR
MEL-SIN-FRA-JFK with SQ & JFK-AUS with B6
So essentially, a mini RTW? I tried to look up the rules about stopovers selecting a flight to the US via Asia and then from the the US via Europe to Asia. However, all I got was information for SIN, HKG & ICN. I also notice that there is no points accrual with non airline partners. I guess that means no point earnings with JetBlue. Well that is disappointing.
I checked flights to ORD and yep, no United love. Well, I would much rather fly with JetBlue based on what I've heard. But I could earn points on United!

Under the proposed agreement, Singapore Airlines would add its ‘SQ’ designator code on JetBlue-operated flights beyond its U.S. gateway at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to 16 key destinations:
- Austin, Texas
- Boston, Massachusetts
- Buffalo, New York
- Charlotte, North Carolina
- Chicago, Illinois (O’Hare)
- Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, Florida
- Houston, Texas
- Jacksonville, Florida
- Orlando, Florida
- New Orleans, Louisiana
- Portland, Maine
- Rochester, New York
- Syracuse, New York
- Tampa, Florida
- Washington D.C. (Dulles)
- West Palm Beach, Florida
In turn, JetBlue would put its ‘B6’ designator code on five daily Singapore Airlines flights to/from the U.S., including:
- Los Angeles (LAX) – Tokyo (NRT) – Singapore (SIN)
- New York (JFK) – Frankfurt (FRA) – Singapore (SIN)
- San Francisco (SFO) – Hong Kong (HKG) – Singapore (SIN)
- San Francisco (SFO) – Seoul (ICN) – Singapore (SIN)
