Singapore Airlines has released some sale fares for travel next year from Australia to Asia, North America and Europe.

Some examples:
SYD-BCN in Y from $1,183 return
SYD-CPH in PE from $2,756 return
MEL-JFK in PE from $2,883 return
PER-ZRH in J from $5,525 return

Book by 30 September 2022.
Travel from 22 January until 5 September 2023.

There are some really attractive prices for premium cabins in that sale Matt.

It‘s interesting to see the prices to ZRH and FRA which have traditionally been among the most expensive due to their heavy business/commercial loadings and yet these are currently the two cheapest routes. Just goes to show where the current and future forecast demand lies for premium cabins; leisure destinations.

Some nice economy airfares to SIN and BKK but only outside of school holidays.

I randomly saw the new prices this week and was shocked how cheap a return J was to Europe (all things considering and lack of competition right now)!

I was already looking at SQ and this just seals the deal, they are really spoiling Australian customers!

I think I got the early-early bird SQ pricing when I booked two D fares BNE to MUC last August for travel in the peak June-July period next year. They were the same price as QF premium economy for the same dates/destinations.

I've priced the same itinerary with today's fares - an exact replica of our trip would be about 30% more expensive, however there is now an alternative option that would be about 10% cheaper but with a long layover in SIN of 14 hours, which wasn't available when I booked.

I'm never sure whether to book early as the first seats are released or to wait until there is a sale like this? At the time the discounted fares were lasting about a day so I just hit the 'confirm' button and hoped for the best haha

Been playing with the fare search for J. Looks like the cheapest fare only comes up if SIN stop is less than 24 hours. Otherwise it's about $40-50 more. I believe it's the extra taxes.

Took a plunge last night and booked MEL-ZRH,CDG-SIN-MEL $6086 pp in J... Given the current inflation figures, I think this is an ok price.

That search engine is so difficult to use and Google Flights don't show flights after mid-Aug.

If it’s of use, there’s some good J fares ex-CGK ~A$3.5k to FRA return (or open jaw into LHR or CDG and return from FRA).

Trying to buy SQ but my return date would be Sept 24th… can’t find tickets…the promo says travel only until Sept 5th but the website says mid ‘24…any advice?

My experince today, interesting.

I had researched the fare bucket availability on Expert Flyer but could.not get SQ.com to replicate.

Plan B was google flights, ITA and others. Flights showed up as desired, but selected routings all failed on transfer.in one way or another.

In the end, I found that by routing from Melbourne and returning to Sydney using multi sector gave me to what I was after, routing and price.

I assume you mean Sep 24, 2023? If yes that is too far put to book - currently Sep 18, 2023 is as far out as you can book - if I have mis-read my apologies and please ignore

Does anyone know of a way on Google flights to filter and show only SQ flights?
It shows Scoot options even when I select SQ only as the scoot flights have a 4 digit SQ flight number
