Singapore Airlines Desktop Website FAIL since Amadeus Migration

As a non-Kris Flyer, I have found the Singapore Airlines migration to Amadeus for general desktop website use annoying, as I can no longer retrieve my booking and make updates. Instead, I have to use the somewhat limited mobile website or iPhone app. As per the attached sequence of screenshots, I enter my Singapore Airlines Amadeus PRN, my surname, and click submit. Then it goes away to "retrieve" the booking, then it goes back to the previous screen, with no error message.

Am I the only person experiencing this? I have tried this with all my browsers on my Mac, and IE using Windows7 with the same result. The booking was made through a travel agent, but surely that shouldn't make any difference, as prior to the migration I could enter details.

sorry can 't be of much help but yes i agree wtih you that their website is a super fail.
not sure why the singaporeans can't design a website properly?
too bad their inflight service is superb so won't stop me from flying them :)

Can't disagree with you there - especially living in DRW with JQ being the only other option north. However, it concerns me that a full-service airline would allow such a dismal website, as the service goes from the purchase right to the collection of the last bag at the end of the journey.

Did the Amadeus integration have anything to do with the problems? (Probably something to pinpoint since you're trying to retrieve a booking rather than do anything else)

I've had the SQ site lock up, report site problems etc. on me several times before the move to Amadeus. Really drove me up the wall at times.

I know their old old site was, well, quite old, but dammit at least it worked!

On top of a poorly functioning website, the use of design elements and UI absolutely sucks.

Prior to Amadeus, I could log in, and that would be about it (none of my data entry was saved). Now I can't even reach that frustration milestone.

It is now the end of July 2012 and the conditions discribed by "here2go" in March 2012 still apply. You still can't get into "Manage My Booking" . Emails to Singapore air return with 'Technicial difficulties ". How long is this to go on ?. A Major Business with Technicial difficulties for this long is disgraceful. Get your act together Singapore air.

Ron, I joined March 2012, however, this complaint is a July one - although as I acknowledged the site was lame before switchover.

The new website problems have been ongoing for a looooong time now, I keep telling myself to 'breath and reboot' - it seems to be intermittent when the Manage my Booking works at all...
