SQ204, the Sunday 29 September 2024's 1815 hours CNS-SIN (A359 9V-SHV) was airborne at 1923, so gate arrival is estimated as 2324 hours, 44 minutes late.

There was a storm over MEL early this evening so Friday 4 October's SQ208, the 1825 hours MEL-SIN was airborne at 1920. A359 9V-SMO should arrive at about 0051 hours on Saturday 5, 36 minutes late.

B773 9V-SWR on Sunday 6 October 2024 arrived SIN at 0647, 52 minutes late as SQ345 from ZRH. It then formed the Sydney-bound SQ241, the 0715 hours that took off at 0834, arriving in the mainland harbour capital at 1846 hours, 51 minutes late.

The aircraft then turned around, operating SQ242, the 1905 hours SYD-SIN in the sky at 2023 hours. Arrival at gate on Monday 7 should be approximately 0104 hours, 44 late.

It is unlikely to be normal for an 0555 scheduled arrival ex Zurich to form an 0715 hours flight to Sydney, so it's possible another aircraft had failed.

SQ241 diverted to MEL tonight due to storms in SYD, now expected to arrive in SYD at 21:57.

SQ242 currently scheduled for a 22:45 late departure out of SYD

SQ231 SIN-SYD, originally operated by 9V-SKP, returned to SIN due to technical issues and has now been replaced by 9V-SKQ, running about 4.5 hours behind schedule (ETA 16.20).

This will definitely affect the return SQ222 SYD-SIN, which is scheduled to depart at 16.10. While not posted yet, there is likely to be a two hour delay to this service.

SQ generally has excellent punctuality to and from Australia, but on Saturday 11 January 2025, SQ231 was an exception. It was operated by A388 9V-SKS and is the 0055 hours SIN-SYD airborne at 0344 hours. Arrival at 1402 will be 132 minutes tardy.

On Sunday 19 January 2025, B773ER 9V-SWU arrived ex SIN in SYD at 0620 hours, 25 minutes late as SQ261. However the return flight, SQ212 (the 1000 hours) was not airborne until 1425 hours with Lion City gate arrival estimated as 1859 hours tonight, 224 minutes behind schedule.

Sunday 23 March 2025 has SQ217, the 1100 hours SIN down to MEL not having taken off until 1220 with A359 9V-SMD. Gate arrival at 2225 hours, an hour late is the suggestion.

For the second day in a row now, SQ231 SIN-SYD has copped a rather hefty delay. It is scheduled to depart SIN at 12.45am but:

• yesterday (25 May) it departed just after 8am, and
• today (26 May), it is going to depart just after 9am.

I wonder if the pax can ask to be put on the earlier SQ241 but that being an A359, I doubt there would be many spare seats.

• today (26 May), it is going to depart just after 9am.

Today actually ended up being cancelled. Tomorrow is delayed until 4.30am.

It wasn't actually cancelled, just re-numbered to SQ9211 for some reason. That aircraft is now operating the delayed SQ222 service back to SIN.

And that aircraft is then turning around to operate tomorrow's delayed SQ231 service.
