Singapore Accor Recommendations

I just got an e-mail from A+ flagging Red Hot Room rates available for Swissotel The Stamford Singapore through to the 23rd Dec. I can't see any with a quick look... but might be worth checking your dates against this, if you are able to lock something in

EDIT: Just found when looking via the app instead of on my PC browser. Example rates early December of SGD$283.80++ per night for Premier Marina Bay King room (you'd need platinum for L65 access with this one)... or an Executive King room with L65 access at SGD$355.80++ per night (no Marina Bay view guaranteed with this... but you're getting it when you want in the club)
I guess Fairmont RHR ends and Swissotel begins althought it's not showing on the A+ site just yet.

As above, it’s in the app, as in the Sofitel City Centre (which has been up for a while). I’ve been monitoring for a stay late Nov.

I was going to comment that there did seem to be an anomaly between the App and website - but being new to A+ wasn’t sure if that was normal or not…

Oh it's now showing on the site.

Ooh thank you! I had forgotten to book last time I was looking at prices and it had of course gone up. Locked in now.

Got it too; minor panic as I have just booked a room there. But that's next year, out of the promo period, whew (?).

Correct. At properties with an EL you can usually choose between breakfast there or at one of the restaurants. I'd second the Swissotel, the EL has incredible views of the quay. I've posted some pics here

Man now you guys are all making me want to use SNUs for crest suite. But i could stay 4 nights at swissotel for the same price as 2 with SNU. Ahhh decisions.

Thanks to all who posted their thoughts, opinions and suggestions so far. Ended up booking one of the RHR deals at the Swissotel and knocked the price down further with some points. I'll imminently have ALL+ Platinum, so figured it was a great opportunity to take advantage of the benefits over and above Gold. Looking forward to staying there!

And looking forward to your review in the Accor Elite Guest thread @DejaBrew 😉

Enjoy, and whilst tempted to take breakfast in the restaurant it’s a zoo the times I have, lounge not so much. Pictures were taken on the day they reopened the lounge after a refurb a few years back.IMG_2314.jpegIMG_2306.jpegIMG_2305.jpegIMG_2310.jpegIMG_2311.jpegIMG_2312.jpeg

Can confirm it’s still much the same as of a few months ago as well. That said; we still went down to Clove for breakfast a couple of times during our stay as they usually have a broader range of Asian dishes, which were on a different rotation to the lounge.

We usually started out at the lounge, and then went down to Clove if they didn’t have what we were hankering for that morning!

Thanks for all the info in this thread!
Got the tail-end of our honeymoon in Sept/Oct `26 and got 4 nights in SIN. Thinking the Swissôtel The Stamford for a few nights.
Am Platinum, so will get EL. Got a Stay+ available so can use that for a PREMIER MARINA BAY room, so brings it down to $386/n inc taxes.

@dairyfloss not sure when you were last at the Sofitel, but the lounge has moved from level 6 by the pool to a small space on level 5. A big downgrade in pace unfortunately. They were using the old lounge space for a late night bar/club but when I last visited earlier this year, that venue seems to have closed. Would be great if the relocated the EL back there.
I stayed there just two weeks ago and the lounge was still in the small space on level 5. It's nice enough, but if there's things going on in the adjacent function rooms then there can be quite a bit of foot traffic around the lounge area.

I'd also add that I've stayed at the two Pullmans and found them both really good.

The Orchard Road one has nice spacious rooms and is close to the Somerset MRT station. It has a small, but very pleasant lounge and you can also choose breakfast in the very nice restaurant instead. The pool is a little on the small side, but pretty nice and if you're looking for shopping it's in a great location.

The Hill Street one is in a newer building and while the rooms are on the small side, they're very well thought out. I'd splash for the suite if you can though, it's often not that much more than a standard room. The lounge here is really great and I'd highly recommend it for breakfast. It has both indoor and outdoor seating and views of the pool. The pool is definitely a highlight of this hotel, it's very large, shaded by the building and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is just a short walk from Town City Hall station, and just round the corner from where the Swissotel is located.
