Hi everyone - does anyone know why you can't book Singapore - Perth - Auckland return on the multi city tool?

With points? cash?

You need to give some more information.

If with points it's probably because no reward seats exist for the flights & dates you want.

No cash booking.
For revenue, I believe PER is not a valid routing. You have to go via BNE/SYD/MEL.
Is it something they will change now that they have the direct flight from PER to AKL? I flew SIN-DRW and could only book to the east coast, not to NZ. So must be the same?

Yeah the SIN-AKL fare appears to have strict routing requirements.

Which makes sense, they have plenty of seats from SIN to the East and between the East and NZ, they won’t want you filling up the niche routes.

You could do it as two separate fares (on the same booking) but I think you’d have to call or see a travel agent to do this.

Yeah...I found one through an online travel agent but had a $5k price tag and showed separate tickets. Surely with an A330 going PER to AKL they can spare a few extra sets to people like me that want to fly new routes for my flight map haha...
