For the first time in a long time, I'm not going to have lounge access in Singapore this week because I'm flying SQ and haven't got the status with them yet. Such is life.

So I'm just wondering if anybody has any good recommendations for breakfast at SIN? Arrive ~7am at T3 and depart ~9.15 from T2, so options at either terminal would be ok.

Thanks in advance :)

I think there's a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf airside in T3 and T1. I've had a reasonable breakfast at other ones in SIN so I don't see why the Changi one should be any different. There's always Maccas in T2

If you are thinking western breakfast then IMHO unquestionably best value brekky in SIN is American Breakfast at Hard Rock Cafe T3. Had it a dozen times - easily best.

If you are looking for an Asian breakfast, check out the food courts... something light like kaya toast, soft boiled eggs and teh tarik could be obtained for a few SGDs
Mmm hungry again

Kaya Toast and Teh Tarik. Much better than any lounge breakfast and only a few dollars. Available in every terminal.

If you like some spice, ask for Teh Halia (Milky Ginger Tea) instead. Yum!

Sounds like a good breakfast option. Thanks :)

What about dinner? I've got 6 hours at Changi on Wednesday night.
Lots of fast food about, airside T3 upstairs is a nice restaurant area near Burger King and also landside there is some nice stuff too, T3 is a whole world in itself. Every time I go I discover another level with more food options...

If feeling a little adventurous, go through immigration and grab a taxi to East Coast Lagoon Food Village (10-15 mins). Good range of local food including awesome BBQ chicken wings, great satay, wide range of seafood including local specialties such as Chilli or Butter Crab and Stingray, cheap beer or choice of fruit juices. Sometimes you have to walk around a bit to find a table. If that doesn't take your fancy, in 6 hours there are plenty of options at the airport, or even going into town via MRT is easily done, could get 3.5-4 hrs in town, which is more then enough time for a decent meal.

Mmm.. You are making me hungry .. & thirsty with the above mentioning.. At any hour of the day. ;)

Another vote for finding a kopitiam of one variety or another and grabbing some kaya toast and soft boiled eggs. Although I vote for kopi-c!

For a couple of hours, you can really only find somewhere at the airport, air or land side. Note that terminal transfers are very easy - skytrain every few mins, with the journey taking just a minute or 2. So if there's a place you want to check out, and it's in a different terminal, it's just a few mins away so you can definitely make it over there.

For 6 hours, if dinner is all you want, you can also consider booking a table at a Jumbo - there's one not too far away from the airport, and a very large one on the East Coast. They are just a short taxi ride away. Spend a hour or so having as much chilli crab as you can, and have a stroll along the park before catching a taxi back to the airport.

DrA - undertaken your flt as yet? Where did you eat?

FWIW will be in SKL T3 Tue morn 6 to 9am if anybody will be about?
