SIN-BKK in Business - SQ or TG?

Evening AFF brains trust,

I'm flying SIN-BKK return later this year and it looks like there are no OneWorld options for that route, and discounting the budget carriers that appears to leave Singapore Air and Thai Airways as my two choices. I'll be flying Business and travelling with my wife.

I don't have any status with any Star Alliance airline so no FF program allegiance either way.

My gut says SQ but that's based only on my experience with them in F/Suites, and the TG cabin looks pretty innovative in their A321Neo which looks to be the aircraft we'd be on given our planned timings.

Does anyone have any recent experience with either SQ or TG in their regional Business class offerings or can offer an opinion either way?

Do you care about the food onboard? If so, SQ would win over TG with the Book the Cook service especially departing from SIN home port.
