Short Report - Amex Lounge SYD, VA to AUH end EY to SYD J

Just finished a short trip to Abu Dhabi. Significant Other (SO) had a few meeting to attend to over there. We decided to have a look at the Amex lounge in SYD, as as we only had an hour transit, found it perfectly acceptable and just stayed there. Small lounge, but very friendly staff. A few pics...

The sparking was Grant Burge, range of hot dishes that changed whilst we were there, and a small Pizza station. Nice outlook over the tarmac. Not too busy, around 20 people all up both that stayed and transited through.

This was my first trip on the new VA J suites. ( and first trip to/from Abu Dhabi in J overall, my previous ones had all been in First - including the Apartment), so I had to slum it .

The handed out order cards for the 2nd service ( into AUH at 2330). It had some breakfast things on it, and steak sandwich etc. I had some scrambled eggs and sausages. Sorry no pics of that.

Service started with some bubbles and olives/almonds and spiced edamame....
