Hi

Was hoping for some insights / assurance

Flying J , CDG - (Ek 72) DXB - SYD(EK 416) , with connection in dxb of 90 minutes , single itinerary, I think 90 minutes is probably enough to get onto next flight , but is that case for my luggage ? The challenge being that I have an onward flight from Syd to Mel , if luggage is delayed will emirates deliver luggage to Melbourne even though last domestic leg is booked separately?

Anyone has recent experience with similar connection time? Have some things in luggage that i cant take in carry-on ) that are expensive, hence the concern

I recently only had a 70 minute connection in Dubai from Glasgow. There were about 14 people on the Sydney flight. We were over an hour late leaving Glasgow and when we got off the flight in Dubai about 100 m after we got off there was a lady with a sign with our flight number and yelling out Sydney.

We had to wait a bit for one person and then she guided us through a back way through Security and got us to our plane which was waiting for us. As long as the plane to Australia is going to make it before curfew they will hold it up. Good luck.
