As a very frequent user of the Starwood chain I'm not looking forward to the upcoming change of management for the Auckland Sheraton touted for Jan 2005. :(
Where am I to stay in AKL for Starwood points? Looks like I'll have to give the Hyatt a go. Can't be too bad I s'pose.

Sheraton Brisbane is also changing to no longer be a Sheraton in Feb - time to find a new hotel partner.

Do you know what it will become?
...I believe the Brisbane Sofitel

That's correct, There's an Article here: http://www.breakingtravelnews.com/article/200412101429170.

Better for us Adv+ members (not that I need it in Brisvegas).

As for Melboune & Auckland, they are to become 'Langham Hotels': http://www.langhamhotels.com/newsMarch152004.htm#1

Four Points Port Macquarie leaves Starwood end of Feb, glad I am not looking at keeping my SPG at Platinum as I am running out of properties to stay at when the free weekends are on!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
