Hi all,
I currently have a request for a point upgrade with Qantas for my partner and I returning from London. With our point balances combined we have enough points but with our individual balances we do not.
Some history:
- The upgrade request is under his name,
- He will not have enough points without me transferring into his account,
- We already transferred points for the first leg upgrade from my account to his (I didn't have enough and his was just short, we had expected to have enough on his account pending some expected points but his current balance will be short).
My question is whether anyone knows if Qantas will allow the combined points and deduct those needed from both our accounts? The challenge is that we have already done our yearly transfer from mine to his account so the only other option is for the request to be changed to my name. Does anyone know if that is possible?
I am gold status, not sure if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance,
Kicks
