SFO Check in Times

I am flying J class with AA from SFO to JFK and the flight does not leave until 22.30hrs. Any ideas on when I can check in our bags.

I was hoping to leave them there about 10am as we will be driving up from Monterey and then on to the city, drop the rental car off and then have a day doing the city sights.

Can't help you with check in times, but last time I went through SFO, I made use of luggage check facilities at the Airport Travel Agency in the international terminal. There was a small fee, but was better than through checking my luggage, as after a day exploring San Francisco, it was good to change into some cleaner clothes.
