Does this mean that you can book a return flight, and cancel the hotel booking before you leave and still get 10,000 points? If the return segment was cancelled (for AUD 38.50), you could get 10,000 points for the cost of just a standard Red-E-Deal there. Thoughts?

Look's like I may have a win here, the free rail trip from SYD to the city commencing 13 Oct, I'm due in at 10.40am. Limited to the first 3000 people to show their BP and FF/QC card.:D

It does state that cancelled bookings will not be eligible for the extra 10,000 points.

Now if I book 3 or 4 of these do I get 10,000 bonus points for each booking. I haven't been able to find anywhere a limit on how many times the 10,000 bonus can be earned.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

As a WP I would have expected to have yhis by now. Anyone else not got it? those that do, what status are you? My NB daughters usually get it 24-36hours after me.

I am NB, and I haven't received an e-mail about this newsletter, yet. I just found the link on qantasff.qantas.net.au ... Probably a day or two till the mailout is supposed to happen. However link usually appears arund when the Award Discount Dates change...

Do you mean I can only get the 10,000 bonus points once? I still don't see where it states that condition.

What if I have 5 separate bookings with a departure to BNE 5 Jan return 6 Jan, a departure to MEL 26 Jan return 27 Jan, a departure to CBR 15 Feb return 16 Feb, a departure to HBA 2 Mar return 3 Mar and a departure to ADL 24 Mar return 25 Mar.

In theory I should receive 10,000 bonus points with each departure as I have satisfied the conditions of booking by September 21, 2007. Oh well, I don't understand it and I am tempted booking a few of these to see what happens. I think 12,000 points is worth risking ~$350....

Actually, there appears to be no limit.

In fact it specifies: "Per Booking".
UK & Europe only? Does not include domestic?

The terms & conditions you posted do not appear to be the same as the ones posted by futaris in post #2 above.

There are two bonuses. One for UK & Europe booking. One for others?

Oh misread that one, thought it started in Oct, still I can only hope. :-|

Yes there are two bonus promotions.

the "10K for 10 days" is near the top of the wen page newsletter and the UK "10,000 extra points** with Qantas Holidays to UK or Europe" promotion is further down.

and the 10 k for 10 days T&C mentions "Valid for all new flight and hotels bookings made online between 12 September to 21 September 2007" so I hazard a guess it's for each booking that is new and made in line with the T&C's.

Well I got my free rail trip to the city, and the rail staff obviously know that we like to keep our BPs, they asked me if I wanted to keep it, yes please, so they stamped it noting that I had received the complimentary ticket.:D

Was far quicker travelling to the city than by taxi and obviously cheaper. Happily paid for the train on the return trip.

Yes I know that the train ticket is excessively priced compared to the regular stations but it was quick and got me there on time.

Used it myself on NRL G/F day last month; they kept my BP stub; left with nothing after my MEL-SYD QF73 trip.

I actually wanted to go to domestic first and then use the freebie from Dom to City. But when I went to buy a Int-Dom transfer ticket; these had more than doubled in price (apparently 2 months prior) and was over $12.

So no visit to T3 QP that day; straight to city (for nix!). :-|
