Great trip though and I’d love to go up the capertree Valley - apparently its Australia’s own mini Grand Canyon

Thanks for the generous offer Matt, but this isn't quite going to work. Flights back to MEL on the Sunday are a bit expensive, and I am now leaning towards going to the AFL Grand Final.

Hopefully there is another opportunity soon.

BAM is on the move on the rear of a freight tonight to Port Botany so I will go and meet it in The wee hours. Not ideal moving passenger cars on a freight.

@BAM1748 - How did the move go? Sorry I won't be able to make it this time as I'll be attending the Brisbane Festival fireworks...

So far so good. I ended up spending the night on board. Great place out there keeping guard at the port then at 6am the airport opened. So about 2 hours sleep. WaitImg for a loco to come and collect for the move to Eveleigh. I did scrape back a wooden door and throw some undercoat on as it was getting a bit ropey.

Matt I am going to try to make it tomorrow. If you have a contact number it would be great if you could pm me so I know what to bring. I put a couple of bottles of bubbly in the fridge. If I am a no show it would be caused by me running on Perth time.
