AFFers. Nice decor but don't rush here for the food or wine.
Just arrived from SPU in Croatia and on way to LHR in J

Got into Senator lounge on Turkish airline QF WP match to gold *A and my J bording pass

Then SG suites via SIN to SYD

Was toying with trying to get LH F A380 to SIN on points but after reading reviews on their product. Think the SG suites r the way to go.

Still nice problem to have

agree... the senator lounges aren't much, but they are a quantum step up from the LH business class lounges!

as to the SQ/LH comparison...LH and SQ are pretty much on par. both excellent but in different ways. for departures ex Germany LH wins hands down for their ground handling services and lounges.

Was in SQ Senator F Lounge Sun morn FRA time - Duval Leroy champers at 11am was fine - food offerings did not look too flash but I was not intending to eat - WIFI worked well if that is any help.

Oh and lady behind front counter was wearing a lovely Swarovski bracelet which I had never seen before - told me where to buy one - Cruiserette loved it when I got home last night - I was in the good books for a change.

senator F lounge??

Isn't there a Senator Business Lounge also?

OK so I passed immigration and turned left as told to do so - I was walking along and got chatting to 2 stunning SQ FAs whose flight to New York had been delayed 4hrs - I was so immersed in the conversation I walked straight past the Senator F Lounge on my LHS and a bit further up there was what I thought a Senator Business Lounge on my RHS where you climb the stairs.

Attendant here said no you passed the F lounge back there - so I backtracked to what I assumed was Senator F Lounge. First time in FRA so really have no idea. What I am 100% certain of however is the 2 SQ FAs I had been talking to were simply gorgeous - any wonder a weary traveller can get confused?

ah ok! Lufthansa has three lounges at Frankfurt. first class (LH group F pax and HONs only). senator lounges... which are star gold lounges, and also used by F class on other star carriers (non-LH group) and then regular business class lounges. senator lounges are a marked step up from the business ones, and ive always wondered why full fare paying business passengers, without star gold status, are relegated to what are essentially pretty ordinary lounges.

The Senator Lounge at FRA near Gate Z50 (Non Schengen) is one of the better J lounges I've been in, especially in Europe. I think its new.

Very large, varied seating environments, good (but not fantastic) food (buffet) & drink; lockable lockers for hand luggage storage, bright, great Wi-Fi.

Senator F Lounge I was in was near gate B43 I think.

just to clear up in case others go looking for it... there is NO senator first class lounge!

there is a single type of senator lounge, which is for first class and star gold passengers in any class (including economy)

LH group first class pax have access to a dedicated F lounge.
