Hello, long time lurker, first time poster here.

I've been developing an Australian loyalty points app since the start of the year; it's just launched and I'm seeking feedback on it. I've seen others share their apps here for feedback, but please delete if this is not allowed mods.

The key questions/problems I was initially trying to solve were on the credit card churning side, building on the spreadsheets I used to run myself:
  • When I take into account annual fees, minimum spends, surcharges, bonus points, spend points and perks, am I actually coming out on top with loyalty points from rewards credit cards?
  • And if so, how can I get the most out of them?
I was also partly prompted by a colleague saying they thought rewards credit cards were all a scam, so I wanted to build something that shows whether they provide value. And I wanted it to be a simple starting point for people newer to points, by relating everything back to dollars. Since then I've added tools that lean towards the spending side as well.

On points valuations, I wasn't sure of the rules around using other website's points values so undertook my own valuation. There's an article on my website if you're interested in how I did it.

The target audience for the app is what I call "the everyday user": someone who holds 1-2 rewards credit cards plus Everyday Rewards/FlyBuys, earns passively without optimising, books flights without checking the value against cash. Some of you will find it basic given your proficiency in this space, and that's OK.

The app is called PointMate on the App Store and Google Play. Core tools are free; some limits on cards/program count and booking-type-specific benchmarks sit behind Premium (which has a one-month free trial). I don't earn affiliate or referral money from any program or card, and the app doesn't provide financial advice.

A quick snapshot of the app and it's tools are available on the website and there's more detailed instructions within the app on how to use each one and what they're good for.

The most useful feedback for me is any data errors, programs or cards missing, as I have to manually maintain the database, whether you'd find the app useful, and what you'd want next.
