Interesting article on Tiger - suggesting perhaps a different philososphy to consumer service than that we have come to expect from them:

The man appointed to revive Tiger Airways in Australia has pledged to end complaints about fee ambushes that enraged many passengers before the airline was grounded for six weeks in July.


Speaking for the first time since his appointment in October as Tiger's Australian chief executive, Andrew David says he believes consumers have forgiven the airline and are prepared to give it another try.

And with a reduction in aircraft I guess they have decided not to expand the route map.
