I'll be in Seattle for a day or two in June. Any ideas on a good cheap return YUPP I can do from SEA?

And yes, I know, I have far too much time on my hands! BUT, my goal is Platinum QFF this year.

How many SCs are you looking to earn and how much time are you prepared to spend flying? Heaps of options...

One I'd recommend from SEA is SEA-LAX-SFO-LAX-SEA. Book everything on the AA code, earns 300 SCs, allows for the all-important lounge access at all ports. :)

Are you sure? Domestic F does not allow lounge access unless it is transcontinental.

If your oneworld Emerald or Sapphire status is not based on AAdvantage Status then access to A/C is available where they exist. (Emerald can access F/Ls as well).

More here: Admirals Club ( R ) Lounge Access

(You also get complimentary drink vouchers.)

At present the OP is a PS, thus does not have lounge access with a YUPP fare.

:oops: Whoops! I forgot to look at the Member of: listing when writing that.

Do note that lounge access is granted in SEA irrespective of status, as you get that for flying paid F on AS. Compared to most other domestic lounges in the US, it's also quite a nice lounge!

Yes, I confess I'm only a lowly PS but the day trip I have planned from Seattle will bump me up into SG. How long does it generally take for SCs to be credited to QF from AA?

I will be on a paid AS flight out of Seattle but it's the second leg of the flight out (I am returning as well the same way). Will that still get me lounge access?

I'm sitting here at SEA-TAC at 2:28am waiting for the connecting flight at 0600 to take me SEA-LAX-SFO-LAX SEA. A lovely very resaonable priced mileage/SC run that earns me 300 SC thereby earning me SG.
