Seating Plan Question Emirates 777-300er

I would appreciate some information about the seats on our booking on EK67 on a 777-300er. It's been a while since I last flew Emirates in J.

Looking at the seating plan (see below), I assume that the two selected seats are window seats behind each other. But I am confused by the huge space across the aisle.

According to Seat Guru, there are three versions, which can be distinguished by the seat numbering: rows 6-11 (two versions) or 1-6. But none of their images match the Emirates seating plan.

I recall I saw somewhere that Seat Guru was out of date so that may explain the discrepancy. However, the gap still confuses me.

Any insights?
Thnaks!

Agree that Seatguru is useless now, always use Aerolopa. Also if you can, use the EK seat selection tool instead of QF's.

This is probably your config (there are two other 777 configs which have differing F/Y but identical J)

There’s no configuration with a huge gap, likely a formatting issue with the seat map being presented on your device.

Not a device issue, but a Qantas seat selection tool issue. It shows the right aisle in the wrong place.

Also - seat 5K is in the mini J cabin, seat 6K is the bulkhead seat in the main J cabin. They are quite a distance apart with the galley inbetween.

Thanks to @MEL_Traveller and @sudoer . Incredibly useful and indeed, a jump over to AeroLopa. Yes - I had used the Qantas selection tool and looking at the image now in Emirates, we are directly behind the toilet so we will move!

One question - on the Emirates map it shows wheelchair seats. Is that simply showing that they are good isle positions for wheelchairs? I presume so. While not in a wheelchair, my wife is 85 and does have some back issues so it would be handy to use one.

(edited: Ah - worked it out - less mobile)

Ah! indeed!

I would suggest for the OP it’s always best to select seats on the website of the operating carrier if possible.

There have been instances where selecting via a third party means the seats don’t stick because of various issues.

Thanks, @MELso. I love the seatmaps.com reference. You are correct with the seat map assumption. And - we are now in 7J & 8K so, nicely caught by the 'keeper.

It's a shame the Emirates site doesn't yet have the 3D view of the cabin for that journey. It would be great to see, although I can see where all those extreme 'extra fees' for booking rewards with Emirates go!

As it turns out, we also have another leg, EK565, and are in 10A and 10B. It looks like this is the reference map; Seat map of Emirates Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. It DOES have a 3D seat view and the difference between layouts is intriguing. It looks more like a short-haul domestic flight, which I suppose it is at just under 4 hours.

It’s not short haul seating. It’s one of their newer 777 business class seats. Still 2-3-2 layout, it the seats are full flat beds rather than angle lie-flat.
