Good morning all. I have a flight booked on QF9 MEL to LHR and when I try to select a seat I get the following message -
Seat Selection is not available on this flight. Can anyone assist?

What a coincidence, I'm also booked on QF9 but had no issues with seat selection... When is it for?

How was it booked and have you tried both the app and the website? Otherwise, you may have to call up QF or raise it with an online chat agent...

What class of travel? And do you have any status? Has the flight actually been ticketed yet?

Once a flight has a specific number of bookings seat selection is stopped allowing for movements to accommodate couples, groups etc.

Premium Economy, Qantas Club Silver. I can select seats on the return QF2 flight but still can't on the outbound QF9. Tickets have been issued

I think it just means the seats allocated in advance for silver selection have reached their limit. This should open up at 80 hours before departure when everything is released (ie those set aside for gold and platinum etc).
