Seat selection on QF 7

Just thought I'd get in early and bag some economy seats upstairs on QF 7 for a flight I've booked in mid March next year, but all (bar a couple of the bad ones) appear as unavailable. Does this mean they have already been snaffled, or is Qantas doing something by way of restricting online access?

to sure why, probably many reasons why. But I'd say restricted

Usually most of the seats are restricted to higher status pax, so if the unrestricted seats are already taken you might be out of luck.
