On Saturday 5 February 2022 during COVID-19, MH128, the 0040 hours MEL - KUL took off early at 0050 hours with A333 9M-MTD, arriving 26 minutes early at 0534.

There were only 111 economy class travellers among the 263 seats in that class.

This, however, is better than some competitors' loadings, such as QF23/QF24 SYD - BKK - SYD.

On Wednesday 16 February 2022, MH140 (2215 hours SYD up to KUL) looks to have 142 out of 263 economy class seats taken.

This is occupancy of 54 per cent. MH has only four flights a week on this route, down from at least daily pre-COVID IIRC., so bearing that in mind the occupied seats ratio is poor., although perhaps higher southbound into Oz.
