Flying QF 98 tomorrow in Y. I've had my seat, a forward window, selected for weeks (actually months) now. QF seat map shows the aisle seat next to me as available to select as well as a heap of others including the WP seats since it is now approx T-29. Check My Trip shows the same, however Expert Flyer shows the aisle seat next to me as blocked.

So, is the aisle next to me blocked or not?

I'm obviously hoping it is and loadings are light in Y with 9 in almost all fare buckets.

Sorry, just to be clear, you are implying that the QF seat map takes priority over the Expert Flyer seat map?

With Altea's 'notional seating' E/F cannot give a exact view as you would see on Qantas.com.

What expertflyer shows is an approximation of the seat map based on the status of the FF number entered into your E/F profile.

Note however, if E/F shows a seat as unallocated or blocked, then, indeed, no one has been allocated to it in the system.

This can change once check-in opens.
