Seat 91K SQ 221 ....an awkward moment!

My wait list cleared for SQ 221 but I couldn't open my itinerary on my BB so did not know what seat had been booked!Imagine my surprise when I checked my boarding pass as I was going through customs to see seat 91k. Got to the lounge and checked Seat Guru ..... No J class 91k! Check with the lounge angel.....and she was surprised, much oohing and aahing resulted. After much checking and re checking the system she checked with a supervisor who advised that this is the new A380 configuration.....upstairs is now all J. Does anyone know when this change happened? I usually go into Melbourne so it may be longstanding .... But it interesting to see this increase in J seating. Now to set my Sat Nav .... I think it will be a long way to the back!

I have actually been allocated a seat that doesn't exist on a flight...

It was a fault with the OLCI...

upstairs is now all J. Does anyone know when this change happened?

I think their first flight of this config was last month... This change caught me out, had pre-allocated a upstairs Y seat, but was removed a few days from flight. Tried to allocate another seat for me and my wife (separate bookings) and no luck online or the call centre.. Found out later from a singapore girl that upstairs (all J) was only 60% and downstairs Y was 100%... Was not a good flight...
