I know I'm probably missing something very simple, but how do I search by flexible dates without it being a reward stay?
As per this part of a post, I am trying to find out how, using IHG.com, to search for a range of dates, showing the rate for each day.

It's really tedious going day by day.

Does any know if it can be done?

Wow, thanks serfty. I thought I was just missing something really obvious. Glad to know I'm not.

FWIW, I'm almost sure it could be done, as they have the "Available Date" range calandar that can be accessed by a link that appears when no reward booking is available on the chosen date, so surely that same concept is available for other methods of payment.

I use the HH flexible date option quite a bit to search for cheap getaways and just assumed I'd be able to do the same with IHG. ;)

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

You can do this but only after you have selected a room at an individual hotel and have moved to the payment page. On the left hand side click on the 'view rate description and rate rules' and it opens a window displaying the price per night at that hotel for each night within your date range.

Much appreciated. A very clunky way of doing it but easier than searching day by day. I've already seen a Crowne Surfers night for $136 so that might have to be one of my challenges from the 1st. Thanks for that!

Thanks for the advice - only problem is is does not work if the hotel is booked out one of the nights or your rate is not available

There are no rooms available that match your requested travel criteria. Please consider modifying your preferences or travel dates, or select another hotel nearby
Still it's somewhat better, just need to narrow the dates windows.

I agree - the HH way of visibly seeing many days in a row is a great feature ...we desperately need something like this for IHG site. Of course it helps find deals but also essential for availability ranges!
