Upon arrival in DFW I found that my flight to LGA was cancelled. I'm flying on Circle Pacific J ticket and was booked in F class on my original flight. Got rebooked on another AA flight to LGA but was booked in Y as no first available. What will apply for my SCs? The original bookings class, ticket class or actual class flown? As I paid for business class ticket I would at least expect J SCs - or am I just too hopefull?

If they're credited automatically, then it would likely be Y status credits.

What you can do is once the flight has credited call QFF and request original routing credit for J on the sector (specially if you weren't given a reasonable credit for the downgrade).

Send Qantas an e-mail and received full credits for F and points. Even got call from Qantas to tell me they fixed it. Nice service.
