As Scoot and Jetstar Asia compete PER-SIN but the 3K flight leaves PER at 2am and the Scoot flight leaves around 5pm I am guessing that the best price garantee won't work in this case due to the time difference in flight times?

Jetstar uses A320s for PER - SIN, so no option for upgrades there. The few times I've checked, Tiger has better pricing than Scoot or Jetstar, so I'd price beat Tiger instead.

Internationally it only has to be on the same day to price beat, domestically flights have to be leaving within 1 hour, so much easier to price beat international legs, but yes it seems the J* A320s don't have *J Biz, aren't we just so blessed and well catered for here in the West... We probably get the hand me down J* planes after the Vietnam affiliate is finished with them.... :)

Do JQ have business seats on PER to SIN?

No - the Jetstar Asia A320s only have economy class as others have also pointed out. Thanks for the clarification casanovawa on price beats being same day for international.

I had forgotten about Tiger flying PER-SIN as well, I just checked some fares PER-SIN and what a bloodbath - with Scoot, Tiger and Jetstar Asia all cutting each others throats. I wonder what Singapore Airlines is thinking running two LCC's against eachother? Cheaper to fly to SIN than nearly anywhere domestic in WA!

I didnt forget I was comparing jq business class options. ... so relax. I dont need a job in Qantas thanks.

Not that it matters because JQ price beat only applies to economy as per the terms and conditions

Actually, seems like this is one of the rare times the time/date change really suits me.

Thanks Scoot ;)

I think you are correct there. I think most airlines would have the same position too.

BYO a small sandwich, packet chips, and lollies and no-body will care, on any airline.

Their current planes are leased from SIA however they will be picking up 787's down the track ;)

Scoot's Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner - Flights | hotels | frequent flyer | business class - Australian Business Traveller

Can confirm for Air Asia X despite plenty warnings they did not mind a bit. Between the five of us were three rolls of Pringle chips, 2kg of sweets and some Anacondas - we were on holiday...

So I suspect the same for Scoot as long as not stupid about it.
