Scams like these

Pity that India does not have a common dialect.
Otherwise we could learn the language and have a deep "meaningful" conversation.
Chordee is supposed to be a bad word in Hindi.
But the fake employee might be a Tamil.

Almost all Indians can understand Hindi reasonably well, so you can rest assured they will understand exactly what you mean.

As there are so many regional languages in India, Hindi basically serves as the common language that everyone learns to communicate with, in addition to their local language.

Things have been very quiet lately on the email front.but today they must be back from holidays.
Australia post tells me my parcel has suffered an"exception".Poor parcel.
Meanwhile I don't seem to have claimed my $5.5 million compensation payment-must have been that slip in Cornwall!

Apparently someone in the US has changed the phone number on my Amex card.

Easy to fix though: "Joe" has sent me his home email address so he can update my details for me.

Don't you love those dedicated souls who take work home with them;)

I had the same, Telstra internet had ben hacked..... Also played along and he started to tell me which buttons to press on my keyboard, I told him I did not have those buttons (Apple, not a windows machine). When he asked me what system I was using, I replied "I thought you would be able to tell me" Then followed some of the ripest language I have heard in a long time.
Got one of the Telstra calls today. The "your internet will be disconnected, you must install this software etc" cough.

I played it along for a bit. Once it was clear I hadn't installed said software (he was asking for me to input a password or something into it and it clearly wasn't working for him) I got some quality feedback about what he'd do to my mother and the number of bombs that were being placed in my house. I was then randomly transferred to another Indian woman who had an even more dirty mouth!

Came through from a Melbourne number but they were clearly Indian

We had the Telstra calls 4 times this week. I answered one call and very lengthily explained that couldn't understand why Telstra was ringing when I had Optus cable for my internet.
No problem, she explained clearly how telstra supplies the service to all the others. However I was very slow on the uptake so she explained several times but I was to dumb, so she very kindly and promptly escalated me to a manager. Who was also very nice . Somehow I must have cut him off. He rang me back in thirty seconds. Then I am afraid our friendship deteriorated. They were certainly keen when they smelled a customer and no putting on hold. Perhaps our airlines and banks should use them to enhance their customer service.

Anyone else get this one?

It has permit numbers at the bottom, anyway I won't be 'clicking'.

They certainly have learnt some quality English words! I don't quite know about how practical it would have been to stick my D in my A, as he suggested, but he certainly provided a very graphic image

Forgetting the fact I'm not a costomer, I wonder how many get fooled by the click here to view the image...

The scams are getting smarter. I've been getting Dyson tester spam in my inbox box but when I go to block them I am getting invalid email address.

I had to answer as I have contacts in the UK and don't have their number but potentially they have mine.

It shows as a U.K. Number and it's a financial services group in share trading - total scam. How did they get my number? Did a credit score last week and had to insert phone number.
