Hi guys,

I'm looking at booking a QR revenue fare in F CDG-BKK via Doha, and trying to decide which program to credit to, so I plugged the flights into the QF calculator and it told me that CDG-DOH would earn 90 SCs yet DOH-BKK would earn 150 SCs ?

These flights are of similar distances (3091 miles v 3285 miles) does anybody know why the significant difference in SC earn ?
I could understand if one made it just over a certain threshold and the other just under but isn't there a 120 SC category for F ?

I recall there were some errors with the calculator initially ? Have these been rectified ? Surely the above is an error ?

Cheers, appreciate any help with this.

I think this is consistent with the Partner Airlines Status Credit Earning Table:
Frequent Flyer - Flying Qantas & Partner Airlines - Flying with Partner Airlines - Earning Qantas Points

You're right, I'm just unlucky that Europe to Middle East is a designated category.
If CDG-DOH were priced as "all other destinations" it would earn 150 SCs instead of 90 SCs (67% more) - simpler and fairer :p

Oh well this just made the decision even easier for me, AA Plat here I come !! :)

Yes, just as bad as my MH flights between BNE and KUL compared to flying on QF...
