SC and missed sectors

I'm looking at some intra-european BA flights. One in particular I can price cheaper by adding a final sector which I will not fly. But I need the SC for the first sector to reach SG. My question is will I get credited the SC from the first sector if I fail to board the second? They are separate flights on separate airlines, if thats relevant.

You should get the SC for all the sectors you fly, but beware if it's a return booking, as missing a flight will cancel every flights after it.

What's the fare difference for adding the last flight?
