Has anyone topped up with the latest offer? 25% off saving when you purchase 40,000 miles, which is the equivalent of getting a 33.3% bonus. So an excellent purchase price.

The question is: should one wait for another 30% bonus miles offer to pay the normal price for 40,000 and get a bonus 12,000; or buy 40,000 now for the price of 30,000?

Terms and Conditions: Transactions are nonrefundable and nonreversible. Please allow 72 hours for purchased AAdvantage® miles to post to the designated AAdvantage account. AAdvantage members must purchase between 5,000 and 9,000 AAdvantage miles in a single transaction from the buyAAmiles® program to be eligible for the 10% discount. Members must purchase between 10,000 and 19,000 AAdvantage miles in a single transaction to be eligible for the 15% discount. Members must purchase between 20,000 and 39,000 AAdvantage miles in a single transaction to be eligible for the 20% discount. Members must purchase 40,000 AAdvantage miles in a single transaction to be eligible for the 25% discount. Discount offer begins 12:00 am CDT July 1, 2012 and ends 11:59 pm CDT August 31, 2012. I have been following AAdvantage for some time now, these offers come and go on a regular basis, so I don't think that it really matters, best to get the miles when and if you need them.

Unfortunately most would have already made use of the 30% bonus recently.

I purchased 40,000 miles and received 12,000 bonus miles. So need to wait until they increase the limit to 60,000 miles for the year. :(
