Satellite Terminal Aerotrain service at KLIA Resumed

No carpet inside the trains any more.. very utilitarian with a plastic seats, but mostly standing room.

Here it is!

Quick and quiet and freezing cold. :)

A bit utilitarian but it’s just a few minutes journey.

The business class transfers by Mercedes were still on offer. I qualified but took one for the team, to try the new train. :)

Worked well when I used it a few days ago. Gets up to a decent speed to compared to say the SIN system that I also used that day.

Trip up (or down?) again:
It is such an important train connecting the terminals too! Used it last Saturday and it was so much better and faster than the bus!

Buses during overnight hours

a full shuttle-bus service will be deployed during off-peak hours between 11.00pm and 5.00am daily to facilitate planned and additional inspection and rectification works.

Additionally, from 5.00am to 11.00pm, a concurrent shuttle-bus service will operate alongside the aerotrain to ensure uninterrupted passenger movement.

How embarassing...used the train twice last month. Next trip to KL probably mid next year so hopefully they fix it properly!
