Not sure it's related to the iPhone though! There are a number of other phones, e.g. the Galaxy Nexus and the HTC One X that look very similar in size/shape to the S3. It's a matter of taste but there are plenty of people who vastly prefer the S3 shape and the nearly 50% more screen size to the iPhone!
 
And Samsung is apparently getting ready to sue apple as soon as the iPhone 5 comes out... assuming one of their extensive patents are potentially infringed.

The wires have it that Apple is now planning an injunction (with similar patent litigation threat) against the Samsung Galaxy S3.

I wonder if Samsung will reciprocate the favour when Apple release the iPhone 5 and iPad mini.
 
This will go on until they cross license things, and I'll bet they both want to do that sooner rather than later, just depends who has the bigger hand right now, or who thinks they have the bigger hand.




The 4G speeds are AMAZING in metro melb and are faster than my ADSL2 connection :(

SWMBO & I pre-ordered two today. Telstra are dropping the price of the G3 3G handset by $4 per week next week - thought we would splash out & pay the full $7 per month per handset for the 4G version.

Both of us are current iphone users......looking forward to handling a different product next week.
