Are you heading through SIN very soon? I can post this Changi Shopping voucher to you. Suitable for use in all stores.
Do you know if you need to present an SQ boarding pass when actually redeeming the Changi Shopping Voucher or only to claim the voucher?

Sadly, not so useful to me as I transit through Singapore on the 1st April, but the info might help others? :)

Yes when you make any 'duty free' purchase in Changi you must present Passport and BP and your Changi $s voucher/s to redeem them. As indicated in SQ Trips and Tales thread this promo will definitely end Mar 31 - so spend your vouchers guys are they will be useless.

Whilst I am still in possession of $500 in vouchers I will be back through Changi on Mar 25 so will spend them all then. Please don't think I am greedy but if you have spares and want to get rid of them post them to me and I will indeed use.

Am happy to donate $10 per $20 voucher to Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday appeal so not all benefit will flow to me - up to you guys.

I know that I have presented boarding passes with the duty free purchase but I don't think it is a condition of using the voucher.

When purchasing food, no BP was required.

Cruiser...I'll post to you if no one else claims by mid March....should be quite a spend up!

When I have used the vouchers previously, no BP was requested (bought T shirts and chocolates). Maybe it is a condition of buying duty free grog?

stickshaker if you are transiting SIN on Mar 1 you will definitely be eligible for the Changi $ promo. If your onward flt is long haul you are eligible for 2 x $20 vouchers - 1 x ATP and 1 x ANY. They will have expiration Mar 31 so make sure you spend.

I forgot to mention when I was returning home VG-SIN-MEL on Mon night they had run out of ATP vouchers so I got 2 x ANY vouchers - replacement ATP vouchers were due into SIN yesterday or today they said.

Couple of other things I did not mention:
1. Flt ex PVG was delayed 40mins and landed T2 - PITA - so I walked to Changi $ counter in T2 to find a line about 50 deep - after 5 mins waiting it was announced that the system was down and they could not process any vouchers
2. I headed over to T3 and the line there was like 100 deep - a whole plane load of Chinese students all clad in the same red unifirms were all lined up for their vouchers and as usual only 2 staff dispensing
3. Went to TPR had an hour or so on VCLGD and returned to empty line to collect my 2 x ANY.

Sometimes you do need to wait - lucky I had 4hr transit originally so had time for lines to clear

Bugger.
We're due to transit in Changi on the 4th April.
No vouchers for us.
deka don't start drying just yet - I quizzed the girls behind counter Mon night - their response was new promo coming post Mar 31 - they claimed they had no knowledge what it was but who knows - Changi $s def finishing Mar 31 - but you might get a whole new experience Apr 1 on.

I'm transiting on 26 Mar sadly on a VA codeshare flying SQ so no $$ for me unfortunately. Won't make that mistake again, for this and other reasons.

Their current website is referring to terms and conditions with a 2016 expiry date, so it looks like it's going to continue with new vouchers issued for 2015/2016 for those transiting from April 1. For what it's worth, the front page of their website doesn't say that the NZ281/282 flights to/from Auckland - which started in January - are now also eligible besides SQ/MI flights; from anywhere else it has to be SQ/MI in/out but can be an NZ codeshare.

Also FWIW, they're also pushing their loyalty card (Changi Rewards) a little harder, such as limiting their so-called "GST absorption" offer (effectively a "save 7%" offer of sorts) to loyalty cardholders from 1/4, according to signage in one of their Skytrains.

100% correct Sky Shark - thanks for the info - I will still try to redeem the $50 work I have just to get rid of them. TBH I wanted to buy 2 x iPad Mini 2 Wi-Fi 16GB to give as gifts to a couple of needy kids I know but just not available in Changi at any store I visited last trip - they had Cellular models but not Wi-Fi - apparently they just sell out as soon as they hit the shelves there - well so the dudes in iStudio in T3 told me.

Alby? Good move giving away those vouchers mate?
