RTWs and the new tax advertising regs

Since the changes in the advertising of flights ex-tax in Australia I've noticed that the prices for RTW tickets have shifted around on some sites, which are now quoting prices inclusive of tax:
Star-Lite Fare at BestFlights
oneworld Explorer at QANTAS
They all seem to imply though that the price will still shuffle around based on your routes. Does anyone know how close to reality these supposedly inclusive fares actually are? I'm looking to book one on Star Alliance in the next few weeks, so I'm wondering if those are pretty much what I can expect to come out of my pocket or if it's still a bit of a roll of the dice.

On a side note, has anyone had any experience with booking Star Alliance tickets through particular carriers? I know most people here fly oneworld, but I'd be interested to hear experiences about which are better for booking RTWs in *A.

I'm pretty sure the Qantas website has been listing these fares as all-inclusive for quite some time now - it even says as at 1 July 2008.

They really just need to provide a basic route that can be purchased and price it out fully to fit into the regulations.
