Hoping to do a RTW late August and want to go Syd-NY-Lon-Rome and then back to Sydney. What would members think would be the best Business class fare or even mixed fare - which airlines would you suggest would be the best?
Best is very subjective. What is your definition of best? Lowest fare, seat quality, freq flyer miles earning or one of a dozen other measures?
Both OneWorld and Star Alliance offer RTW fares. Or a good travel agent could do from point to point fares
Good point... Definitely seat quality, that is flat rather than reclining and low fare where ever possible. We went Swiss air last year and couldn't complain Qantas Syd-Singapore (economy) and then Swiss Sing-Dublin business class. I guess I was interested to find out what members think re the best way to book - Trawl the internet or go through a travel agent. I am reasonably okay with hunting out fares on line but am wary of the pitfalls of that too.
