So theoretically you could ticket with first segment locked in 364 days out, remainder open (as you can't ticket longer than 365 days generally)

Once you've commenced travel, you have another year from date of departure.

I've done two of these now but with the way the $ has been going I just took an award fare back from NRT and intend to wait before going again.

Just curious if anyone has done a DONE4 from NRT lately and if so how much did it cost you in AUD$? With a 30% drop in our dollar compared to the Yen I did not think it was worth even trying.

Thanks again for everyone who helped me plan my first DONE4. All my friends were envious how I managed to get it so cheap.... and it was all thanks to the AFF community.

But with the currency rates all gone downhill for AUS, is there much discount in doing this now?

We're planning a month or 6 week long trip in January and this would be perfect.
