I was looking at going to New York but wondered off to RTW fares for Nov.

Swiss, Qantas, United, Virgin Atlantic & More SaleRound World to over 60 Cities Oct 10-Mar 11

This link to cheapest on offer at Best Flights. One stop free, another for $100.

If JFK becomes the free stopover, and say another stop in Asia for $100 (toss between BOM, BKK, HKG), what possible itineraries could be drawn? Would prefer OW (CX, QF) and/or *A. I don't want Zurich or UK ports as destination. Prefer any other to maximise SCs and QF ff points (and SQ points, as lesser pref).

SYD-JFK-ZUR(x)-Zone 1 destination- transfer- Asia- SYD

Suggestions appreciated.

with the current sale on UA business fares, that might be a good choice for a r/t to new york at AUD5704 plus taxes which will be a great saving over the $11k for an ATW ticket if not having a necessity to fly ATW. DL also have the same fare

How good is the product?
Dave you tested it.....what is it like?
Are they equally as good and what type of plane are they using?

I haven't used Delta's current product so cannot comment on it, but they are using a 777
United's business product is very good with seating that easily beats Qantas's 747 seating plus a v good IFE for those that need entertaining. The only area where UA is let down is that their meal offerings are worse than Qantas's. UA uses a 747 from AU-USA and then a 3 class 757 from SFO/LAX to JFK
