Well, those RPT planes from airports without screening are still causing the odd problem thanks to procedural failures:

Qantas domestic terminal evacuated

The Qantas domestic terminal has been evacuated after transit passengers from a flight from Exmouth apparently went through into the departure area without being rescreened after their arrival.

Hundreds of passengers had to be evacuated after security staff were alerted.

Delays of up to an hour are now expected as all passengers are rescreened by security staff.

Passengers from regional airports that do not have the same standards as major city airports are required to be screened upon arrival at Perth before boarding any connecting flight.

Airport security staff need to make sure that paxs are being guided into the correct areas and not breaching security.

The airlines need to take a stand against this and send a bill for all the lost time due to these incidents.

We hear about this nearly every week now.

We have to mindful of security.
