I was in Egypt/Jordan during mid January and escaped before anything happened which was good. But when i went to claim my points online for my royal jordanian sector online through Qantas (One World partner) because i forgot to take my card with me, i couldn't. So i sent an email and then they said i couldn't claim on economy????

What you need to do is find your e-ticket itinerary for the journey and see what fare class your ticket was in (it’ll be a letter of the alphabet). On Royal Jordanian, only HKLMSV in discount economy and BY in full price economy earn points with Qantas. You can see that all in the QFF T&C’s.

I flew Royal Jordanian in economy and got my points credited very quickly. Four days after flying on one leg they were in my account and two days after the other leg.

I checked when booking to ensure that my class would earn points. NB there are classes on most airlines that wont give you credit. I do wish One world would be consistent about it though.

I have been looking at RJ flights in economy and some return flights book into an ineligible booking class.

Simply pay the extra money for an eligible booking class if the SC's and points are needed or look for another day.

RJ is a oneworld member airline and as such generally earns SC's whenever QFF points are earned.
