So RJ has joined Oneworld, how has been peoples expereince if any ?

In planning my DONE4 i may have an different routing i want to take that would mean AMM-JFK in RJ, they use A340-600's and have 83" flat beds according to there web site but thought somebody may have some first hand expereince ?

If anybody is wondering route change would be from LHR-MCT-LHR-SFO to now be LHR-MCT-AMM-JFK-DFW.... etc, this also mean the trip out of the USA is SFO-MEL (MEL is better for me than SYD) instead of JKF-SYD
I drop to only 2000 SC for the whole trip now but i am actually interested to visit both MCT and AMM as a first time visitor to the region.

Hi,
flew RJ in July just after they joined OW-> LHR to AMM and AMM to BKK both in business class.
No RJ lounge in LHR but used the Cathay Flounge instead.

Not planes bad but not up there with Qantas. For example no fixed video screens but portable DVD players (might have been one of their older planes). Food was good and great, friendly service.
No flat bed but older style business class seats.
Good to be in the RJ lounge on Amman airport to avoid very busy gate lounges.
Amman is a great city with very friendly people and lots of interesting places. Consider day trip to Jerash if you have time (and skip overrated/overcrowded Petra if you have to choose).
Have fun, L
