Logged in to check seats for SYD-HKG tomorrow on 747 and 40 C and D are available- or HJK in row 41. I assume this is the mini cabin at front of Y - but I think I’ve been in a different Config before for this mini cabin.

Anyway just wondering whether row 41 has room or if I should stick with 40 C or D? I just need to get a bit of work done so space is an issue...not having anyone recline on me especially!!

Edited to add: this is QF127 SYD to HKG tomorrow, 19 Oct

There are seats in row 40HJK but are not allocated. I think maybe crew rest seats?

Thanks Serfty! I can now switch to 40a, my preferred seat anyway so have done so. Looks like the block in B might be my shadow? I’m only a lowly gold though...

From what I’ve read 40HJK are crew rest - 41 would be ok as no one would decline but I do like the bulkhead a bit better. Least I should be able to get some work done.

As per Justinbrett's posts it looks like you have a 4 class non refurb 744. 40 HJK are indeed crew rest.

Are my posts hidden or something?

Row 40 is excellent with 40H by far my preferred seat. I'd take that seat over any non-bulkhead premium economy seat anyday.

And bulkhead means no chronic recliners in front of you.
