Just booked tickets for August next year (so long away!) SYD-NBO. The whole F cabin is open to me. decided to go on EK to Dubai and QF back and of course Dubai to Nairobi is on EK - 340-50. I guess as there are two of us we will take the middle 2 seats, but row 1 or row 2 - has anyone any experience? Seat Guru says row 1 can be bothersome because of the Lounge/bar for both aircraft type in F.

Have you checked seat guru or the EK forum on FT?
I did have a look at Seat Guru and it had row 1 as yellow. Hadn't thought of FT - I tend to shelter here rather than going into the big bad world of FT. :) If I don't find anything there, I think I will book row 2 and check out myself for future reference. Thanks for the ideas :)

have checked out FT now - feel silly not to have thought of that! general consensus is that row -2 is quieter than 1.
