Has anyone used, or bought a 'massage gun'? Physio recommends for an obstinate calf muscle issue but there are models $100 - $500 seeming to do much the same; expensive ones with more 'modes'/heads but I wonder if they are necessary?

I have this one (Classic, no heat/cool) I know nothing about massage guns but find it helpful for forearm tension and plantar fasciitis. It’s light and compact and can easily be taken travelling. Bob and Brad have a YouTube channel with hints on using it.

I have this one

Thanks. As it happens, I bought this one - smaller than a pack of cards. I was looking for one with a removable battery, as I want to take it overseas and put it in checked luggage. Seems to be no such thing. So I bought this for $65, from JB hi-fi (using a $50 gift voucher from my Latitude card :) ) that will go in my carry on (<200g).

I'm impressed! May not need a full sized one.

I attended a barista course today at the warehouse of the company that sold me my coffee setup. Just 4 of us it was well worthwhile and now I know things like being able to judge correct grind etc by squishing the puck in the portafilter etc.. Now I can approach the equipment with greater confidence. The Fiorenzato grinder allows fine adjustments to be made to tune the brew. Now I also know a thing or two now about texturing milk. ;)

So I unboxed my setup tonight and seasoned the grinder burrs with half a kg of Aldi coffee. That means running a quantity of beans through the grinder to take the manufacturing edges off the burrs. Made my first coffee. Threw the first one away as the grind was too fine and adjusted to make it a little coarser. I don't know what I am doing but it made for a better flow and taste.
This is it in it's temporary location.
