Any reason why the Philips is better

The Philips has a much larger footprint.

Some reviews say you can't cook a whole chicken in the Instant but I'm sure BC has said she does

We like our Phillips XXL - does whole chicken, 1Kg pork and other meat roasts, plus auto selection for hand cut chips and chicken legs and pieces very good.

What would you do in the oven that you couldn't do in the Weber?
You could do things in the Weber but takes longer and an AF (no pre heat needed) does a better job for many things. Hand cut and frozen chips, better more juicy chicken, chicken legs and thighs from frozen, frozen meat pies etc, best port roasts ever cooked with brilliant crackling, omelette and frittata, roast veg, bruschetta, … Plus AF easier to clean in dishwasher.

Would do steak and lamb chops in Weber Q but pork chops better in AF as come out more moist.

I was referring to a conventional oven not an AF.

I have a simple AF and feel I am not using it to its full potential. I have only cooked one roast pork belly in it and was disappointed, so went back to the conventional oven. Minimum bench space so I keep mine in the cupboard. It does do great chips though

As there is only the two of us, we have a small airfryer. I probably should have bought a bigger one but this is fine TBH. I often do a small chicken or air fried karaage chicken - easy and quick. And the airfryer bits go in the dishwasher.

Phillips Airfryer XXL model does a good job but despite clean after each use, now smelling quite bad due to baked on fat in roof element etc. I think best solution is to disassemble and deep clean.

Any other suggestions?
