I was there a couple weekends ago and there was still plenty at that stage – so much so that I'm now overstocked in this years BP... bad planning.

Received a Rockford news letter yesterday. Not sure if it's for Stone Wall members only but some wines are being released early. Alicante will be released in July and expected to sell out by October.
I heard a couple of weeks ago from @henleybeach 's fav place that Alicante was expected in July at their cellar. Strictly limited and likely need to ask for it.

Ouch!
I had meant to post an excerpt from a private cellar sale through PWS, for the Rockford fans.
Doubt the price points are bargains but collectors may be interested:

I should cash in 😂

As an FYI for the lowly Bud Burst members like myself, Rockford are currently selling magnums of the 2015 Basket Press for $225. It's not shown on the website or order forms but if you shoot them an email asking them what's available they will let you know about it.

Also as an FYI they charge shipping on the magnum as a separate package, so if you are buying other wines you'll get charged 2 x shipping (and insurance if you choose).

I haven't taken my magnum for many, many years.
I've only ever bought 1 magnum from them. Find it hard to see deep value when I can buy 3 standard bottles for slightly less than 1 magnum once shipping is factored in. Happy to pay a slight premium for a magnum but once it goes over 1.50x I won't buy.
I've never bought a magnum in my life, so there's some novelty to it, but do realise the added cost over double does seem a little odd. I mainly bought it for a special occasion or Christmas with friends, as it's more easy to be shared that way. Is there any truth to a magnum having a slightly different taste due to its volume and how that ages in the bottle?

In the future, I'd be much more inclined to purchase a magnum of the Black Shiraz if offered to me :D

Magnums cellar longer I believe, so there's definitely value in them.
