Does anyone know when the Rex lounge at Melbourne airport will reopen to Priority Pass card holders ?
I was turned away from the lounge this morning despite the App. saying that the lounge reopens today - the 17th a March.

I wouldn't be surprised if they leave Priority Pass altogether soon.

Nope, but Priority Plus which is issued as part of Amex benefits provides access to many lounges, including Rex.

I think you will need to contact Priority Pass.

Although lounge access isn’t looking good so far for Rex.

In another thread a Business Class passenger was denied access and told to wait at the gate at 40mins before departure because it was about to board....

I asked about this 2 weeks ago, and the Rex staff member at MEL indicated he didn't think it would be open to Priority Pass members any time soon.

The lounge currently has a covid capacity of 12 people so it's not like they have lots of extra space, anyway.
